Columbia Workshop on Continual Learning

Despite the remarkable progress in AI, we believe fundamentally new learning approaches are needed to build systems that can continually acquire knowledge, adapt to new environments, and learn from experience. The workshop will bring together researchers in machine learning, neuroscience, and cognitive science, along with industry researchers developing continually learning AI systems. We hope to foster conversations across these communities about the principles of learning and memory, and how they might inform the next generation of AI systems.
